Surgisenz Nexicryl 910 Polyglactin is a synthetic, absorbable sterile surgical suture made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. It is coated with glycolide-lactide copolymer, calcium stearate, and triclosan for antibacterial protection. The suture is non-antigenic, non-pyrogenic, produces minimal tissue reaction, and is designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, except for ophthalmic, cardiovascular and neurological tissues.
