Surgisenz Nexiglyde Polyglycolic Acid is a sterile, absorbable, synthetic surgical suture composed entirely of Glycolide (100%) homopolymers. This braided and coated polyglycolic acid suture meets all standards set by the United States Pharmacopeia for synthetic absorbable sutures. It is intended for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues. It is also available in undyed form.
